Inheritance tax should be levied in India; New controversy due to Sam Pitroda's role









New Delhi; News Agency: In America, after the death of a person, half of his property is handed over to the public. Indian Overseas Congress president Sam Pitroda insists that inheritance tax should be implemented in India as well. A new controversy has arisen due to his role. Pitroda also explained that the discussion on implementation of inheritance tax in India should be started.

America has an inheritance tax. Pitroda also pointed out that if a person has $10 million in assets, after his death 45 percent of his assets go to his children and 55 percent to the government. India also needs such a law. In India, after the death of a person, all his property goes to his sons and daughters. It should not happen.
