Many people opposed my decisions
In an interview to India Today, Akshay said, “I have done many films on topics related to social causes. During this time, many friends and people from the industry asked me, why do you want to make a film on sanitary pads? Why do you want to make a film on toilets?”
The actor further said- 'When I made a film on sex education, many people opposed me. They said that talking about sex is bad. But I did these films because I liked those stories. If I like any such story in the future, I will do it again.'
Akshay's last released film 'Sarfira' was a flop. It made a lifetime collection of Rs 22 crore.
