Leaders Online Desk: The T20 World Cup 2024 tournament has now reached the Super-8. 38 matches have been played in the league round. Eight teams of Super-8 have been decided. This round will start from June 19. The World Cup featured 20 teams, divided into five groups each. The top two teams from each group have advanced to the Super-8 and the complete schedule for this round has been announced.
This T20 World Cup has also seen some big changes. Afghanistan showed the way out to a big team like New Zealand, while Pakistan team had to wrap up because of America. This time, some former champion teams like New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will not feature in the Super-8. In their place, new and powerful teams like America and Afghanistan have created their place. India, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, Afghanistan, USA, England and Bangladesh have qualified for Super-8.
Super-8 round starts from June 19
The Super-8 round will begin on June 19 with a match between USA and South Africa. There are two groups in this round. Each team in a group will play three matches.
