Minister Jaishankar was interviewed on Thursday (16th) at Gurudakshina Hall of Gokhale Education Society as part of 'Vishwabandhu Bharat' program organized by Chaswa Foundation, Nashik. Jaishankar was the first to elaborate the concept of Vishwabandhu Bharat, the concept of connection with the world, the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and the integration of all of them, India first. It is not the land in their name, it belongs to India. Jaishankar expressed his firm belief that after the removal of Article 370, the entire 'POP' will definitely come to India.

There is pressure to buy vaccine exports to 128 countries

Talking about the issue of dual citizenship, Jaishankar said, discussions and studies are going on and it will take some time to decide on it. The world was under pressure to import the Covid vaccine, claiming that India would have the highest number of deaths due to the epidemic during the Covid period. But he mentioned that India has developed a domestically manufactured vaccine and exported it to 128 countries, which is a matter of great importance for the country.

Membership in the United Nations?

70 years ago, there were moves for permanent membership of India in the United Nations. However, the then Prime Minister had taken the stand that China should get permanent membership in the United Nations before India. The Foreign Minister expressed hope that if elections are held in the 193 countries of the UN, India will get a majority for permanent membership.
