'India reached the moon and our children..': The facts presented by the MPs of Pakistan

Leader Online Desk : When we see the news on our TV screens about India landing on the moon and just two seconds later comes the news of a child falling into an open drain in Karachi and dying. While children are being killed due to open drains in Karachi, while India has reached the moon, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) Member of Parliament Syed Mustafa Kamal expressed the reality in Parliament. On this occasion, he also heartily appreciated the progress made by India in various fields.

Our children are dying in the drains of Karachi

Speaking in Parliament, Syed Mustafa Kamal said, 'Today, while the world is moving towards the moon, our children are dying by falling into the drains of Karachi. When we see the news on our TV screens about India landing on the moon and just two seconds later comes the news of a child falling into an open drain in Karachi and dying. The city of Karachi is the revenue generating engine of Pakistan. There are two ports in this country. In a way, this city is the gateway to the country. Meanwhile, the city has not received clean water for the past 15 years. He also regretted that when water comes, the tanker mafia seizes it.

Over 25 million children in Pakistan are out of school

Syed Mustafa Kamal while quoting a report in the Parliament said, 'About 70 lakh children do not go to school in Sindh province. Considering the entire country, this figure is 25 million. Karachi is the capital of Sindh province. We have a total of 48 thousand schools, but a report reveals that 11 thousand schools are vacant. 2.62 crore children in the country cannot go to school. The leaders of the country should have lost their sleep after realizing this fact. He also uttered such harsh words.

A few days ago, the leader of the opposition party in Pakistan, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, pointed out the backwardness of Pakistan while comparing it with India. Maulana Fazlur Rehman had said that India and Pakistan gained independence together, but today they (India) are trying to become a superpower. We are dreaming and we are begging to avoid bankruptcy.
