New Delhi; Leading News Service: Congress media general secretary Jairam Ramesh claimed in an interview to a news agency on Thursday that if India Aghadi comes to power, the candidate for the post of prime minister will be selected within 48 hours.
He said that a 2004-like situation will arise in this election. Congress and India Alliance will perform brilliantly in many states. Congress will gain big in Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana and Maharashtra. Apart from this, the party's position will also improve in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Assam.
After the India Aghadi gets a clear majority, the India Aghadi will select the prime ministerial candidate within 48 hours. Ramesh explained that the leader of the party which gets more seats will lead the India Alliance government.
