England's innings ended on 218 runs while batting. While chasing the challenge given by England, the Indian team made an aggressive innings. India's openers Rohit and Yashasvi put on a 104-run partnership for the first wicket. England bowler Bashir broke the partnership by dismissing wicketkeeper Foxkarvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal scored 57 runs. After winning the toss and batting first, England got off to a good start. Ben Duckett and Jack Crowley put on a 64-run partnership for the first wicket. Kuldeep broke this partnership.
