IND vs ENG 5th Test: Team India dominated on the first day of the Dharamshala Test

England's innings ended on 218 runs while batting. While chasing the challenge given by England, the Indian team made an aggressive innings. India's openers Rohit and Yashasvi put on a 104-run partnership for the first wicket. England bowler Bashir broke the partnership by dismissing wicketkeeper Foxkarvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal scored 57 runs. After winning the toss and batting first, England got off to a good start. Ben Duckett and Jack Crowley put on a 64-run partnership for the first wicket. Kuldeep broke this partnership. He had Duckett caught by Shubman Gilkar. Duckett scored 27 runs in his innings. Crowley then completed his 14th Test half-century and fifth against India. Indian bowlers bowled 25.3 overs in the first session. In this, England scored 100 runs by losing 2 wickets. Crowley scored 79 runs off 108 balls with the help of 11 fours and 1 six. Joe Root was dismissed for 26 runs, while Jonny Bairstow, who played his 100th Test, was dismissed for 29 runs. Kuldeep didn't even allow captain Ben Stokes to open the account. With England on 175 runs, the team lost the wickets of Bairstow, Root and Stokes. Ashwin sent Hartley (6) and Wood (0) to the pavilion in the 50th over of the innings. After this, Anderson (0) was sent to the pavilion and England's innings ended on 218 runs. Bashir remained unbeaten with 11 runs. In bowling, Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets for India. At the same time, Ravichandran Ashwin took four wickets in his 100th Test match. Apart from this, Ravindra Jadeja got one wicket. That means all 10 wickets of England were taken by spinners.
