New Delhi : A heat wave red alert was issued in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. On Wednesday, the temperature crossed 45 degrees in 10 cities of Rajasthan. The hottest city in the country is Barmer in Rajasthan.
Barmer recorded a maximum temperature of 48 degrees. The weather department has predicted that the temperature of Rajasthan may reach 50 degrees in the coming days. A heat wave warning has also been issued in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Maharashtra. Even in Kashmir the heat was unbearable. Ten cities in the state (Badmer, Phalodi, Churu, Ganganagar, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, Chittorgarh, Pilani, Bhilwara) recorded temperatures above 45 degrees on Wednesday.
Severe cyclone from tomorrow
Pune: The conditions are favorable for the advance of monsoon. According to this, a severe low pressure area is forming in the Bay of Bengal on Friday (May 24), which will transform into a cyclone on Saturday (May 25) and a mega cyclone on May 26. The Meteorological Department has predicted that this super cyclone will hit the coast of Bangladesh and West Bengal.
