Imtiaz is afraid of working with Big B: Said- I will salute him from a distance; called Amitabh a bigger star than Shahrukh

Director Imtiaz Ali has recently revealed that he is scared of working with Amitabh Bachchan.

He also told that after watching Rockstar, Big B had written a letter to him praising the film.

In a recent interview with Midday, Imtiaz Ali revealed that he is scared of working with Amitabh Bachchan. At the same time, he is sure that Big B will agree to work with him.

The director further said that Big B is huge as a megastar and compared him to Shah Rukh Khan's stardom. He said that Shah Rukh is not that big for him as he is smaller than Big B.

Shared the story of Big B's stardom

Imtiaz further shared an anecdote of Big B's stardom. He said- I come from a small place. I have seen his (Big B) stardom. People in the theater went crazy after watching a scene from the 1985 film Giraftaar. People broke the seats in the hall.

Imtiaz further said- I still feel this madness, so I thought I will salute him (Amitabh Bachchan) from a distance. He is a down to earth person.

Big B praised Imtiaz's film Rockstar

In the same interview, Imtiaz Ali also said that after the release of Rockstar, he received a letter from Big B. In that letter, Big B praised Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri starrer Rockstar.

Imtiaz and Big B have not worked together in any film

Let us tell you, Imtiaz and Amitabh Bachchan have not worked together in any film yet. However, both of them worked together in a TV ad. In 2017, the director posted a picture with Big B on Instagram, in which both of them can be seen hugging each other.
