Director of IIM Amritsar Dr. Nagarajan Ramamurthy said that the students had complained to him about the matter. He said that the institution has taken the hostel building on rent. The main hostel of the institute is currently under construction. The power supply lines in the existing hostel building are not capable of withstanding the heavy voltage. Air coolers will be installed in the hostel rooms in the coming days to combat the heat.
