Isha Koppikar recently talked about her struggling phase and challenges in Bollywood. She also said how uncomfortable she felt romancing an older hero onscreen. In an interview, Isha said that she felt like she was hugging her father when she did so.

'I don't feel comfortable working with an older hero'

In an interview to Siddharth Kannan, Isha said, 'It was uncomfortable working with a hero who was 30 or 20 years older than me. I too used to feel very uncomfortable when I used to work in films. Working with an older hero does not give the feeling of hugging a partner or lover, rather it feels like you are hugging your father. That is what I used to feel. I was new then, I thought this is what happens in films. Then I used to explain to myself that you should focus on your part and not on someone's age.'

Isha is 47 years old.

The audience is not stupid: Esha

On the onscreen romance of senior actors with young actresses, Isha said, 'Senior actors should understand how they look now and then choose roles accordingly. I hope that this changes now because the audience is not stupid. I have heard the audience in the theatre saying, he looks so old, sitting at home, romancing a girl of his daughter's age. The audience boldly says what is true. Because of social media, everyone knows the truth now.'

Recently, Isha was seen in Siva Karthikeyan-Rakulpreet Singh's Tamil science-fiction 'Ayalaan'.
