I lost my father to cancer: Sonali Verma

Hina and I had a great professional relationship, but after the work was over we lost touch. I was very sad to hear the news of Hina's cancer. I recently lost my father to cancer, so I know how difficult it is to deal with cancer. I have seen my father's radiation and chemotherapy. From this I can understand how difficult this time must be for Hina and her family. My prayers are with them.

I hope she gets well soon. Nowadays science has progressed a lot and prayers have an effect. Hina shares her condition through videos on social media, which shows her struggle and courage. May God give strength and patience to her and her family. This is a difficult time for them.

Jitendra ji had asked me to meet Ekta Kapoor

I did Political Science from Maharani College, Jaipur and a short course in Media from Delhi Polytechnic. I loved television and ad films. At a young age, I thought of working in advertising. After the launch of NDTV, I was sent to Mumbai. I got many offers. At an event, Jitendra ji asked me to meet Ekta Kapoor. Ekta gave me the show 'Kesar'. After this, I did many shows with Balaji Telefilms and learned the aspects of acting, like lighting, marks, close ups, and long shots.

I also worked in Jai Mehta Productions. Every actor was treated like family there. One of my favourite characters was the role of 'Durga'. That show helped me understand different techniques of acting.

'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' changed my life

When I got the offer of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', it was a big turning point in my career. That show gave a new direction to my life and gave me recognition. After this, there were big changes in my life and career. I consider that time very important.

Faced many challenges in the beginning in America

I faced many challenges in the beginning in America. Living there was a different experience than traveling. I did not think that adjustments would be so necessary. The doctors' system, bill payment, driving license renewal and school system are all different. I slowly learned these things and am still learning.

Acting agents play an important role in America

I cannot leave my son for a long time. If I get a chance to do a project in India, I am ready to do a small brief project. I have not yet explored the acting field in America. There, managers or agents are required who send for auditions and follow the rules of the union. Since I live there, I can manage these things, but have not explored it completely.

The love of my fans is huge

Social media was new to me. After being busy with home and family, I thought of doing something new. I started blogging and posting on Instagram. Now I realized that the love of my fans is huge. They are happy to see me, and I also feel good that I am connected with them on social media.
