'I have seen my parents fight a lot in my childhood': Ranbir said- their relationship was going through a bad phase at that time, but there was a lot of love between them

Ranbir Kapoor has talked about his parents' relationship in a recent interview. Ranbir said that most of his childhood was spent watching his parents fight. Because of this, he was very scared.

Ranbir also says that his father Rishi Kapoor never raised his hand on him nor shouted at him but still he was very scared of him. This is the reason why he never said no to his father for anything.

'The relationship of the parents was going through a bad phase'

In a conversation with Nikhil Kamath, Ranbir said- My parents often fought over small things. We lived in a bungalow. I spent most of my childhood listening to my parents fight on the stairs. I used to get scared watching them fight. I think their relationship was going through a bad phase, but they both loved each other very much. Eventually, both of them stayed together.

In the same interview, Ranbir also told how is the relationship between mother Neetu Kapoor and Alia? He said that Neetu and Alia share a very good bond. They are also very honest with each other, which makes Ranbir very happy.

Ranbir said- Papa was fond of food and alcohol

While talking to Nikhil Kamath, Ranbir told that his father Rishi Kapoor was very short-tempered. But he was actually a very good person who loved his family, work, food and alcohol very much. Ranbir also said that while his character in the film Animal was very close to his father, in real life he himself was afraid of his father.

Ranbir also said that he never said no to his father for anything. He says- He never shouted at us, nor did he ever raise his hand on us. But the environment around was such that I was scared of him.

Talking about Ranbir's work front, his film Ramayan will be released in the coming days. In this film being directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ranbir will be seen in the role of Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Mother Sita.

Apart from this, Ranbir has the film Love and War being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt are also with him in this film. The actor also has Ayan Mukherjee's film Brahmastra 2.
