South star Prithviraj Sukumaran has spoken openly on nepotism in an interview. Prithviraj also revealed about his relationship with Dulquer Salmaan. Prithviraj is the son of South superstar Sukumaran, while Dulquer Salmaan is the son of South star Mammootty.
Prithviraj said- Salman and I both lived very close to each other in Kerala. We are both 'Napo Kids'. After this, while talking about nepotism, he said – It was very easy for me to enter the film industry. I got my first film because of my surname. No one thought that I would become a good actor because I am the son of a big actor.

Prithviraj said in an interview with Mashable India that he was not even screen tested before the film. He gives the credit of his first film to his surname. He further said that even though he got the film because of his surname. But the final decision is in the hands of the public, whether they accept you or not. When the film is released on Friday, the public decides how successful you will be as an actor.
If the public doesn't like you then no one can do anything about it, be it anyone's son or daughter. Even the Board of Directors cannot do anything about this. The public chooses you, and you cannot escape it. You have to face them. Prithvi said- Yes, I would still say that it was easy for me to enter the film industry.
