History created by Chirag-Sattvik duo


Bangkok; News Agency: Indian badminton pair Sattvikraj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty defeated China's Chan Bo Yang and Liu Yi in the Thailand Open men's doubles final. Chirag and Sattwik once again proved their dominance by defeating the Chinese pair in straight games 21-15, 21-15. Thailand is a special place for Chirag and Sattvik. He won his first Super 500 title in Thailand in 2019.

In the final, the Indian men's pair dominated the match from the start. Interestingly, the pair did not lose a single game this entire week. The Indian pair, ranked third in the world, won their second World Tour title in 2024. Earlier, he had won the French Open title in the month of March. This was Chirag and Sattvik's fourth final of the season. Sattvik – Chirag had a thrilling victory in the 2019 tournament. Now this week, however, they won easily in Thailand.
