Himesh Reshammiya's father passed away, was 87 years old: He breathed his last on 18 September in Mumbai, Vipin Reshammiya was a music composer and film producer

Vipin Reshammiya, father of Bollywood singer and music composer Himesh Reshammiya, passed away on September 18. He was 87 years old. Vipin was having trouble breathing for some time and was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.

He breathed his last at 8:30 pm on September 18. Vipin Reshammiya's last rites will be held today (September 19) at Oshiwara Crematorium in Mumbai.

Vipin Reshammiya's family confirmed his death in a statement and wrote, It is with great sadness that we have to inform that our father Vipin Reshammiya passed away on September 18. He was a wonderful person who brightened our lives with his presence.

The film was produced and composed by Vipin Reshammiya.Vipin Reshammiya was a film producer and music composer. He produced films like 'The Expose' (2014) and 'Tera Suroor' (2016). He also composed music for a film called 'Insaaf Ka Suraj' (1990), which could not be released.

In the year 2021, Himesh had revealed on the sets of 'Indian Idol' that his father had composed a wonderful song, which was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar, but this song could never be released.
