The maximum temperature may go up to 44 degree Celsius in many parts of the country on Friday. On Saturday, the maximum temperature may reach 45 degrees Celsius (Heat Wave), it has also been explained in the bulletin given by the Indian Meteorological Department.

According to the information provided by the Meteorological Department, on Thursday (16th), the temperature was ranging from 43 degrees Celsius to 46 degrees Celsius at many places in the country. In particular, most parts of Rajasthan, some districts of South Haryana, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh recorded temperatures above 43 degrees Celsius. It is 2 to 4 degrees Celsius above normal, the Met department also said.

The heat wave will continue for the next five days

Deadly heat wave is likely to occur in parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh between May 17 and May 21, Uttar Madhya Pradesh between May 18 and May 21, West Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana between May 18 and May 21 and parts of Delhi. . The India Meteorological Department has predicted that people will suffer due to humidity and heat in sub-Himalayan areas and West Bengal on May 17.

Rain forecast today in 'these' states

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely to occur in some parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal on Friday (17th). Also, heavy rain is likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala today.
