Congress MLA from Haryana Kiran Chaudhary joins BJP with daughter.
New Delhi, Leading News Service: Congress MLA from Haryana Kiran Chaudhary and her daughter former MP Shruti Chaudhary joined the BJP on Tuesday. It is considered a big blow for the Congress as this party entry is on the eve of the assembly elections.
Kiran Choudhary joined the BJP in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, former Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh at BJP headquarters in Delhi. Kiran Chaudhary then along with his daughter BJP President JP. Met Nadda.
Kiran Chaudhary is a close friend of former Haryana Chief Minister Bansilal Chaudhary. She has been a four-time MLA from Haryana's Tosham assembly constituency. She was in Congress for the last 40 years. She was upset that her daughter Shruti Chaudhary was not nominated by the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections.
