Leaders Online Desk: A little girl who fell into a 45-50 feet deep borewell in Surgapara village of Amreli in Gujarat was rescued today (15th) morning. She was discharged after a long operation of 17 hours. Doctors have declared her brought dead.
According to information, a one-and-a-half-year-old girl named Arohi from Surgapara village in Amreli, Gujarat state, fell as much as 50 feet into a borewell. This incident happened on Friday (14th) around 12 noon. As soon as the incident was understood, the local administration and the rescue team started efforts to evacuate her. After a long operation of 17 hours, she was able to be taken out today (15th) at around 5 am. After being evacuated, she was taken to Amreli Civil Hospital. She was declared dead there. This information was given by fire officer HC Garhvi.

After the incident, Union Minister of State Prafulla Pansheriya told the media, “I request everyone in Gujarat that if you cannot close the borewell, please let us know. Send us a message or send us a letter I will. Work for humanity,”
