A new angle has emerged in the murder case of Baba Siddiqui. Not three shooters but a group of 10-15 people were involved in the murder of NCP Ajit faction leader Siddiqui.
This information has been given to Bhaskar by someone close to Baba Siddiqui. He told that not only Baba Siddiqui, his son and Congress MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui was also the target.
Baba Siddiqui was murdered outside the office of Zeeshan Siddiqui on Saturday. He had Y-security, but the police vehicle was a short distance away at the time of the incident.
3 shooters opened fire amid the sound of firecrackers A close friend told Bhaskar on phone that Baba Siddiqui was going home from the office of his son Zeeshan. Dussehra fireworks were going off on the road. Meanwhile, a group of 10-15 boys came and asked Baba Siddiqui whether he would not celebrate Dussehra with us?
Baba Siddiqui often used to go among the people in such events. He did this on Saturday night also. They started bursting fireworks at the request of the boys. After this, when he started sitting on the front seat of the car, three shooters opened fire on him amidst the sound of firecrackers. During this time his security van was at a short distance.
Three attackers had shot Baba Siddiqui outside the office of his MLA son Zeeshan.
Son Zeeshan Siddiqui was also the target, saved due to phone call The attackers were going to kill not only Baba Siddiqui but also his son Zeeshan Siddiqui. But Zeeshan narrowly escaped. Sources told Bhaskar that Baba Siddiqui and Zeeshan Siddiqui had left the office together to go home. Meanwhile, Zeeshan got a call and he went back to the office. Zeeshan was sitting in the office and talking on the phone. Suddenly there was a sound of gunshot. Baba Siddiqui had been murdered and the attackers had dispersed. Sources said that if Zeeshan Siddiqui had not received the call, he too could have been murdered.
Not only Baba Siddiqui but also his son Zeeshan Siddiqui was the target of the shooters.
Zeeshan was in dispute regarding SRA re-development in Bandra. Sources told Bhaskar that son Zeeshan is a Congress MLA from Bandra. There was a dispute going on in his assembly constituency regarding SRA re-development. Under this re-development, the slums were to be demolished and the people living there were to be removed. Zeeshan had also gone on a fast in protest against this.
According to sources, Baba Siddiqui was also threatened for opposing re-development. Sources said that Baba Siddiqui has always been helpful to Salman. In such a situation, it is possible that Lawrence Gang may have been given the responsibility of murder of both Baba Siddiqui and Zeeshan and the issue of SRA re-development may be the root of this murder.
After the murder of Baba Siddiqui, the security of his close associate Salman Khan has also been increased. Salman is already the target of Lawrence Gang.
Security of Salman's house increased Lawrence Gang had also taken responsibility for the firing outside Salman Khan's house on April 14. Mumbai Crime Branch had detained Anuj (32) and Subhash Chander (37) from Punjab on April 25 in the firing case. Salman Khan's security has been increased after the social media post surfaced. An additional police team has been deployed at his Bandra home.
While sharing this post on social media, Lawrence Gang has taken responsibility for this murder.
Threat to Salman's helpers in social media post The social media post in which responsibility for the murder of Baba Siddiqui was taken. It was posted 28 hours after the incident. This has been posted by Shubu Lonkar. It is written in it, 'Salman Khan, we did not want this war but you caused harm to our brother. Baba, who is building the bridges of Siddiqui's decency today, was once under the MCOCA Act with Dawood.
The reason for its death was to connect Anuj Thapan and Dawood with Bollywood, politics, property dealing. We have no enmity with anyone, but whoever helps Salman Khan and Dawood gang, keep their accounts in order. If anyone kills any of our brothers, we will definitely react. We never struck first.
