Popular actor of the 90s, Govinda, was shot in the leg. The actor was shot by misfiring from his own revolver in the early morning of October 1, after which he was admitted to Kriti Care Hospital in Mumbai. When this accident happened, his wife Sunita Ahuja was in Jaipur. She has returned to Mumbai after hearing the news. Today she has reached the hospital, from where she has given an update on Govinda's health.

While talking to the media outside the hospital, Sunita Ahuja said, Sir's health is fine now. Today we will shift him to the normal ward. Much better than yesterday. I think they will discharge him tomorrow or the day after. With the blessings of all of you and the blessings of the fans, he has completely recovered.

After a few months he will start dancing again – Sunita

He further said, prayers and prayers are going on everywhere for Sir. He has a huge fan following, everywhere. Worship and prayers are going on in temples and dargahs. With everyone's blessings, Sir's health is absolutely fine. I would like to say to the fans that you guys do not panic, Sir is absolutely fine. After a few months sir will start dancing again.

Sunita Ahuja was not in Mumbai when the accident happened.

Sunita Ahuja's manager Saurabh Prajapati told in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar that Sunita was not in Mumbai when Govinda was shot in the leg. She had gone to Jaipur on 29 September to visit Khatushyam Baba. He had visited the temple on 30 September. She was supposed to come to Mumbai on the afternoon of 1st October, but before that she got the news of the accident with Govinda. In such a situation, she had left for Mumbai from Jaipur at 9.30 in the morning instead of noon.

Govinda was preparing to leave for Kolkata when he was shot in the leg. In the morning he cleaned his revolver. While he was keeping it in the cupboard, the revolver fell, due to which the bullet hit his leg due to misfiring. He had lost a lot of blood, after which his daughter Tina and Dr. Aggarwal of Kriti Care Hospital took him to the hospital. The bullet was removed from Govinda's leg with the help of surgery in the hospital.

Mumbai Police interrogated the family, seized revolver

Mumbai Police reached Govinda's house on Tuesday afternoon after he was shot in his leg. After this the police recorded the statements of the family. Govinda's gun has been confiscated for investigation.

Many questions arose over the accidental shooting

It is being told that Govinda got shot when the revolver fell from his hand. However, this is doubtful because when the gun is not in use, it is kept in a safety lock. In such a situation, the question is whether Govinda was keeping the gun in the cupboard without installing the safety lock.

The second question is that even if there is no safety lock, it is not possible for the revolver to fire if it falls, because in such a situation the trigger guard could have prevented it from firing.

The third question is that even if the bullet had been fired by mistake, the barrel of the revolver would have been upwards and not towards the knee.

Fourth question, if Govinda was going out of the city, then why was his gun loaded? Because revolvers are usually not kept loaded.

Fifth question, it has come up many times in the reports that Govinda was consulting doctors for paranoia, in such a situation, was he in a position to keep a loaded gun.

It is being said in the reports that Govinda's revolver was of 0.32 bore. Whereas the bullet taken out from his leg is of 9 mm. The question is also that how can a 9 mm bullet fit in a 0.32 bore revolver?

It is believed that this is the same bullet which was taken out from Govinda's leg.
