Leaders Online: Ain Lagnasarai, the price of gold continues to rise. Today, Monday (April 1), the price of gold increased by Rs 1,712 per 10 grams or per tola. Today, pure gold i.e. 24 carat gold price opened at Rs 68,964 per 10 grams. On March 28, the same rate had closed at Rs 67,252 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, today silver rate rose to Rs 75,400 per kg from Rs 74,127. (Gold Price Today)
In the month of March, the price of gold had increased by Rs 4,660. Now, on the first day of the financial year, gold has gone up by Rs 1,712 in one day.
According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association, 24 carat opened at Rs 68,964 per 10 gram, 22 carat at Rs 63,171, 18 carat at Rs 51,723 and 14 carat at Rs 40,344 per 10 grams. Silver rate has opened at Rs 75,400 per kg.
Meanwhile, gold rose by around Rs 1,800 to Rs 69,487 per 10 grams in early trade on MCX today. This is a new high for gold. In early morning trade, April gold futures on MCX rose around 1,250 to Rs 68,930 per 10 grams. While silver futures rose by over Rs 700 to trade at Rs 75,787 per kg.
Meanwhile, gold for June delivery rose by 1.80 percent to Rs 68,910 per 10 grams. While silver has increased by 1.28 percent to 76 thousand per kg. (Gold Price Today)
Gold is booming in the international market as well
The Federal Reserve is expected to cut its first interest rate of the year in June as US inflation eases. Against this backdrop, the gold rate reached a new high today. Spot gold rose 1.2 percent to $2,258.71 an ounce after initially hitting an all-time high of $2,259 in international markets. US gold futures rose 1.8 percent to $2,279.10.
