There was firing at Salman's house in Galaxy Apartment on the morning of April 14. So far 5 accused have been arrested in this case.
New revelations are now being made in the 1,735-page charge sheet of the firing case outside Salman Khan's house. The charge sheet was filed in the special court on July 8. However, it has not been made public yet.
In this, Mumbai Crime Branch has also included the audio clip of the conversation between the shooter and gangster Lawrence's brother Anmol before the firing.
News agency PTI has quoted the charge sheet as saying that Anmol had told the shooters to fire in such a way that Salman Khan gets scared. You guys should not wear helmets and keep smoking cigarettes so that you do not look scared in the CCTV footage. Firing took place at Salman's house in Galaxy Apartment on the morning of 14 April.
Anmol had a conversation with the shooters on the Signal app. Anmol had also told the shooters that if they do this job, their name will be recorded in history. It will also be covered in newspapers and media all over the world.
Bullet marks were found on the wall of Salman's house. Both the shooters were seen in the CCTV.
Salman's statement was recorded on June 4
The Anti Extortion Cell of Mumbai Crime Branch had recorded Salman's statement on June 4. This has also been included in the charge sheet. Salman had told where he was and what he was doing when the firing took place at his house. The actor said that not only he but also his family members are in danger from gangster Anmol.
- 'I am a film star by profession and have been working in the Hindi film industry for the last 35 years. On many occasions, a crowd of my fans gathers near my house Galaxy Apartment near Bandstand in Bandra. To show my love to them, I wave my hand from the balcony of the first floor of my flat. Also, when there is a party at my house, friends and family members, my father come, I spend time with them in the balcony. After work or early in the morning, I go to the balcony to get some fresh air. I have also hired private security for myself.'
- 'In 2022, my father lodged a complaint at the Bandra Police Station. He had received a letter in which I and my family were threatened. In March 2023, I received a mail from an employee of my team on my official email ID, in which I and my family were threatened on behalf of Lawrence. My team then lodged a complaint at the Bandra Police Station.'
- 'In January this year too, two people were trying to enter my farmhouse in Panvel with fake names and identity cards. When Panvel Taluka police interrogated them, it was found that they were from Fazilka village in Rajasthan, which is also Lawrence's village. I have told all my associates, relatives, family members to always remain alert. Mumbai Police has given me Y plus security. Trained policemen, bodyguards, private security bodyguards are always present with me.'
In January 2024, some people also tried to enter Salman's farmhouse in Panvel.
Salman said- Lawrence's plan was to kill me and my family
The actor said- 'I was sleeping that day when I heard the sound of firecrackers. It was 4.55 in the morning. The police bodyguard told me that two people on a bike fired a gun on the balcony of the first floor of Galaxy Apartment.'
Salman also said that attempts have been made to harm me and my family before. I have come to know that Lawrence has taken responsibility for this attack on social media. I believe that Lawrence gang had fired on my balcony.
Earlier also Lawrence and his gang had talked in an interview about killing me and my family. I believe that Lawrence carried out this firing with the help of his gang members when my family members were sleeping. His plan was to kill me and my family members, so he carried out this attack.
Salman often comes to the balcony of his house and meets his fans.
Five rounds of firing took place at Salman's house on April 14
There was firing at Salman's Mumbai house Galaxy Apartments on the morning of 14 April. The criminals who opened fire came on a bike. They fired a few rounds outside Salman's house and then fled from there. Two days later, Mumbai Police caught these criminals from Gujarat.
So far, the police have accused 9 people including Lawrence in the case. Out of these, 6 have been arrested so far. On May 1, one of the 6 accused, Anuj Thapan, committed suicide in police custody. Lawrence is already in jail in other cases.
Both shooters Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal in police custody.
