Mumbai Police has registered a case of cheating against famous director-choreographer Remo D'Souza and his wife Lizelle D'Souza and five other people.
Thane Police said that a dance group had filed this complaint last Saturday. Remo and his wife and all others have been accused of fraud of Rs 11.96 crore.

Complaint lodged at Mira Road Police Station The 26-year-old victim dancer had lodged his complaint at Mumbai's Mira Road police station on October 16. According to this complaint, the dancer and his group were defrauded between 2018 and July 2024.
This group had won by performing in a reality show. The complainant says that Remo and other accused pretended that the group belonged to them and usurped the prize money of Rs 11.96 crore won by them.
In this case, the police have registered a case in the name of Remo D'Souza, his wife Liezel D'Souza, Omprakash Shankar Chauhan, Rohit Jadhav, Frame Production Company, Vinod Raut, Ramesh Gupta and one other person. The case is being investigated.
