New Delhi; News Agency: Atishi, a minister in the Delhi government and a senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, has revealed that he is being pressured by the BJP to join the party. He also explained that the BJP had planned to arrest four of its senior leaders during the Lok Sabha elections.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to Tihar Jail in connection with the liquor policy scam. The court remanded him till April 15. During the court hearing, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) counsel had pointed out that Kejriwal had named Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj. In this background, Atishi interacted with the media. She said that I was offered to join the BJP by senior BJP leaders. He alleged that the BJP leaders had also threatened him to join the BJP to save his political future or else he would be arrested by the ED. He also pointed out that the BJP is plotting to arrest Bhardwaj, Durgesh Pathak, Raghav Chadha along with me during the election.
