Sara Ali Khan starrer film 'Ae Watar Mere Watan' has recently been released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime. Foreign actor Alex Onell is seen in the negative role opposite Sara in the film. Alex has been working in the Bollywood industry for many years. Meanwhile, during a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Alex spoke openly about his Bollywood career and struggles.
He told that in some films and series, scenes are cut after shooting. This hurts Alex. Alex says that this has happened to him in many projects including Sushmita Sen starrer web series 'Arya'.

While sharing his experience of working with Sara, Alex said – Sara is a very big star. But according to me, this film is the best film of his career. Because before this most of the people had been calling Sara beautiful and glamorous. But in this film the actress within her has come out. Alex believes that this film can prove to be the turning point of Sara's career. He has done justice to his character.
Ali Fazal and Rajkumar Rao are Alex's favorite actors.
Talking about nepotism, Alex said that there is a lot of nepotism in Bollywood. However, he did not talk much openly on this topic.
Worst experience of Indian film industry
When Alex was asked what was his worst experience in the Indian film industry. On this Alex said that many of her scenes were cut in Sushmita Sen starrer web series 'Arya'. He said- My character in this was that of a musician. I worked very hard on speaking Hindi and Sanskrit.

Alex tells that he had memorized verses in Sanskrit for this film, in which he found it very difficult. When the series was released, I saw that many of my scenes were not in the series. I was very hurt at that time. Because you already tell people around you about your character and scenes. But when your work doesn't look the same after release, people laugh.
Alex says this is not the first time this has happened. This also happened with him in the recently released film 'Ae Watan Mere Watan'. In this too, some of his scenes were removed from the film.
During the shooting of this film, Alex's best bond was formed with Sara and the film's director Kannan Iyer. Alex's favorite actors in Bollywood are Ali Fazal and Rajkumar Rao. Talking about his favorite actresses, his favorite actresses are Vidya Balan, Divya Dutta and Tabu.
Alex stepped into Bollywood with the film 'Cheeni Kum'
Alex is from America. After working on stage in America for ten years, he came to India. He started liking working on stage. Alex used to do modeling in those days, when for the first time director R Balki offered him a role in the film 'Cheeni Kum'. In this film he worked with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time. Apart from Big B, big stars like Tabu and Paresh Rawal were seen in this film.

After films, Alex also worked in TV.
After doing films, Alex worked in TV shows like 'Jhansi Ki Rani'. He told that he faced difficulties in doing TV. In fact, every day in TV, actors are given scripts on the set just before shooting. Now because Alex's command over Hindi was not that good. He faced some problem in practicing in a hurry. He says that there is a lot of pressure during TV shoots.
Talking about films, you have a lot of time in them. Rehearsals take place for several days. Because of this, it is easier for Alex to do films. Apart from acting, Alex is also interested in music, singing and many sports. Apart from being an actor, he is also an excellent singer.
