New Delhi, News Agency: Seeing the development in Jammu and Kashmir, the citizens of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir will be ready to come to India. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed the belief that India will not have to use force for this. In an interview to PTI, Rajnath Singh said, Jammu and Kashmir has been transformed during the Modi government.
The wind of development has blown. Seeing this development, there is no doubt that in the future, the citizens of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir will demand that the region be merged with India. Such demands have also started from them. Therefore, India will not have to use military force to take over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Pakistan Occupied Kashmir was a part of India. It is a part of India and will remain a part of India, said Singh.
Regarding the situation in Kashmir, Rajnath Singh said that seeing the improvement in the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, one day there will be no need to implement AFSPA there. Of course, this is my opinion and the Home Ministry will take a decision on it, he added. He said, Pakistan's involvement in cross-border terrorism is well known. Pakistan should stop these activities now. He also said that India remains determined to maintain peace in the region and eradicate terrorism.
Elections in Kashmir are on time
Rajnath Singh said, the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is now becoming normal. Lok Sabha elections are also taking place there. Its people are exercising their franchise in a fair and fearless environment. Therefore, assembly elections will also be held in Jammu and Kashmir at the scheduled time.
