Sidharth Malhotra starrer 'Yodha' has earned Rs 17.51 crore on the first weekend. The film did business of Rs 4.25 crore on Friday, Rs 6.01 crore on Saturday and Rs 7.25 crore on Sunday. The total occupancy of this film on Sunday was 23.29%.
'Thank God' earned Rs 28.78 crore on first weekend
Before this, Siddharth's last film released in theaters was 'Thank God'. Released in 2022, this film had first weekend collection of Rs 28.78 crore and lifetime collection of Rs 34.89 crore. After this, in the year 2023, Siddharth's 'Mission Majnu' was released on direct OTT.
'Bastar' earned Rs 86 lakh on Sunday
On the other hand, Ada Sharma starrer 'Bastar', which was released along with 'Yoddha', has done a business of Rs 2 crore in the first three days. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 40 lakh on Friday, Rs 75 lakh on Saturday and Rs 86 lakh on Sunday. With this, the film has collected Rs 2.1 crore on the first weekend. Its overall occupancy on Sunday was 14.38%.
After earning Rs 54 crore in the first weekend, 'Shaitan' also earned well in the second weekend. The film has done a business of more than Rs 100 crore at both the global and domestic box office.
Second weekend 'Shaitan' earned 23 crores
'Shaitan' earned Rs 23.30 crore in its second weekend. The film collected Rs 5.05 crore on Friday, Rs 8.50 crore on Saturday and Rs 9.75 crore on Sunday. With this, the total domestic collection has now reached Rs 103.32 crore. Earlier, the film had earned Rs 54 crore on the first weekend.
Talking about the worldwide collection of 'Shaitan', till Friday the film had earned Rs 125 crore worldwide. Madhavan, Ajay Devgan and Jyothika are seen in lead roles in the film.
