Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' has collected Rs 96 crore 18 lakh globally on its first weekend.
The film earned Rs 9.05 crore across the country on the fourth day i.e. Sunday. With this, it has done a business of Rs 40 crore 80 lakh in 4 days at the Indian box office.
This film, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, will join the 100 crore club on the 5th day.
Apart from Akshay and Tiger, actors like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F are also seen in this film, which was released in theaters on April 11.
Couldn't earn in South
Even though BMCM may have earned Rs 40 crore 37 lakh in Hindi at the Indian box office, the performance of this film was very poor in South. In 4 days, its Tamil version has earned Rs 23 lakh, Telugu version has earned Rs 18 lakh and Malayalam and Kannada versions have earned Rs 1 lakh each.
'Maidan' earned Rs 6.52 crore on Sunday
On Sunday, Ajay Devgan's film 'Maidan' collected Rs 6 crore 52 lakh at the Indian box office. With this, the first weekend Indian BO collection of this film has reached Rs 22 crore 22 lakh.
Worldwide, this film has done a business of Rs 31 crore 86 lakh in 4 days.
Highest occupancy found in Kolkata
The overall Hindi occupancy of the film on Sunday was 22.87%. It got the highest occupancy of 40% from 200 shows in Kolkata. At the same time, maximum 758 shows are being done in Delhi. The occupancy of the film here remained only 20%.
On Saturday the film had double the earning of Friday
Earlier, the film had collected only Rs 2 crore 80 lakh at the Indian box office on Friday. And on Saturday it earned Rs 5 crore 65 lakh. If seen accordingly, there was a 100% jump in the collection of 'Maidan' on Saturday.
