Firing was fired outside Salman Khan's house at 5 am on Sunday. Two bike riders fired 4 rounds in front of Salman's Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. The security of the house has been increased. The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has arrived for investigation.
Salman was in his house when the firing took place. Khan had received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldie Brar gang.
A team of forensic experts also reached the spot to investigate.

Salman also received threats in June 2022 and March 2023
In March 2023, Salman Khan's security was increased after receiving a threat from Lawrence Bishnoi. He has received Y+ category security from the Maharashtra government. In June 2022, Salman and his father Salim Khan had received a threatening letter, in which it was written that the same fate would befall Salman as happened to Sidhu Moosewala.
NIA had said that Khan was on the top of the list of 10 people whom jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had threatened to kill. The Bishnoi community is angry over the 1998 blackbuck poaching incident, citing which Lawrence had threatened to kill them in a TV interview.
Got Y+ security after threat, 11 soldiers live together
Earlier, Maharashtra Police personnel used to stay with Salman, but after receiving threats, he has been given Y+ category security. In this security circle, 11 soldiers stay with Salman all the time, which also includes one or two commandos and 2 PSOs. There are always two vehicles to escort Salman's vehicle in front and behind. Along with this, Salman's car is also completely bulletproof.
