In an interview to News18 Showsha, Shilpa said, this incident happened with me during my struggling days in 1998-99. I cannot take his name but he told me on the pretext of audition, wear these clothes and do the scene. I did not wear those clothes. In the scene, I was asked to seduce that filmmaker. I was very naive then, so I did that scene. After this, when he started forcing himself on me, I got scared. I pushed him and ran away from there. The security staff understood what had happened to me and advised me to leave from there as soon as possible. They thought that I would create a ruckus for help.

Shilpa did not reveal the name of the producer but said, he is from the Hindi film industry. I agreed to do the scene because he was also an actor. I am not lying but I cannot take his name. His children are a little younger than me and if I take his name, they will also get into trouble.
Shilpa further said, I met that producer again after a few years and he talked to me nicely. He did not recognize me and even offered me a role in a film but I refused. He still does not recognize me.
