Elections will be held in the capital Delhi in the sixth phase. BJP had already announced all its seven candidates. Soon after that, the alliance of Congress and Aam Aadmi Party announced all their candidates. So, in which constituencies, the picture of BJP vs India Aghadi is now clear.
Except BJP's Manoj Tiwari, both sides have played with new faces. While Congress and 'AAP' have focused on Purvanchal region to compete with BJP in Delhi politics. In this, Congress has fielded Kanhai Kumar from North East constituency, while 'AAP' has fielded Mahabal Mishra from West Delhi constituency. BJP, however, has fielded candidate Manoj Tiwari to win the votes of Purvanchal region. BJP's Manoj Tiwari will contest against Congress's Kanhaiya Kumar from North East Delhi.
Since 2014, the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been successful in forming governments in various states along with the Centre. In the states where the political pundits were commenting that the BJP could not win power, the BJP and the leadership of PM Modi also defied them and won power. Therefore, the BJP believes that the charisma that is going on everywhere in the country will work again in the Delhi Lok Sabha. Earlier in 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP had won seven out of seven seats. As Delhi is the capital of the country, the Prime Minister, all the Union Ministers live in the capital city of Delhi. Many important offices and institutions are located in Delhi. Delhi is important in many ways. So it will be BJP's effort to win Delhi again.
Central to the liquor scam campaign
As in the country, Ram Temple, Article 370 and various development works done in the capital Delhi by the central government will be campaign issues for the BJP in the Delhi Assembly. Whereas Aam Aadmi Party and will campaign on the issues of free electricity provided in ten years, better education, better health facilities and the development work done during Congress Sampua government and Sheila Dixit era. However, among all these, the issue of Delhi alcohol abuse case is going to be prominent. Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is in jail in the Delhi liquor scam case. During the campaign, the BJP is also going to emphasize that the party which was born to prevent corruption, which emerged as the scourge of the corrupt, the main leaders of the same party are in jail on charges of corruption. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are going to try to raise this issue of deliberately trapping us. Also, the opposition has already alleged that the investigation agency is working as per the instructions of the central government. Therefore, the issue of alcohol abuse in Delhi will be a topic of discussion in the Delhi Lok Sabha. Now it will be important to see who he turns to or who gets votes on this issue and who goes against him. Those who will be successful in convincing the people of their side will play an important role in the Lok Sabha.
Displeasure in Congress
It will also be an important issue in this election that BJP does not have an independent face of the state apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. On the other hand, India Aghadi has a familiar face in Delhi like Mallikarjun Kharge, Aam Aadmi Party leader besides Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Congress state president Arvinder Singh Lovely. India can benefit from this. However, the Congress will have to convince the interested candidates who could not get the nomination. Mahila Congress national president Alka Lamba, Delhi Congress state president Arvinder Singh Lovely, Sheila Dixit's son and former MP Sandeep Dixit were also keen to contest the Lok Sabha. However, these three leaders did not get the nomination. Although these three leaders have not declared their displeasure, it will be clear that they are not displeased when they actively campaign. On the other hand, BJP fielded six new candidates, giving up as many as six existing MPs. However, the BJP is less likely to be affected by this. Because the organization of BJP works for the party and not for any candidate in the election.
Will 'AAP'-Congress stop BJP?
BJP's victory chariot, which is racing everywhere, has been blocked by 'AAP' for the last 10 years in Delhi Assembly and Delhi Municipal Corporation. BJP has not been able to perform brilliantly like Lok Sabha in Delhi Municipal Corporation or Delhi Legislative Assembly in the last 10 years. AAP is going to try to stop the BJP in the Lok Sabha seats in Delhi just like in the Delhi Assembly. This time Congress is also with AAP. After the Lok Sabha, the Delhi Assembly elections will also be held. Before that, the Lok Sabha elections will be their preparation. Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal is in jail in the Delhi alcohol abuse case. This election is being held against the backdrop of accusations and counter-accusations between BJP and 'AAP' over this matter.
