Screenwriter Javed Akhtar has revealed that he had bad feelings for his ex-wife Honey Irani after their divorce. He also said that he takes 60-70 percent responsibility for the failure of the marriage.
Let us tell you, Javed sahab and Honey got married in 1972. They had two children from this marriage, Farhan and Zoya Akhtar. However, both of them separated in 1985. Javed sahab married actress Shabana Azmi in 1984 itself.

He said- Honey is the only person in this world for whom I feel guilty. 60-70 percent of the responsibility for the failure of our marriage is on my shoulders. If I had the understanding I have today, maybe things wouldn't have gone wrong. It is very difficult to accept this, but that is the way it is.
Farhan said- I felt that Papa had betrayed me
Farhan Akhtar was deeply affected by his parents' separation. He felt as if he had lost his father. Regarding this, Farhan said- There was a time when I was angry with him. I felt that he had betrayed me.
People considered Shabana Azmi to be responsible for the breakdown of Javed sahab's first marriage
After separating from Honey Irani, Javed sahab married Shabana Azmi in 1984. Shabana Azmi also had to face taunts from people after becoming Javed sahab's second wife. Regarding this, the actress said, 'People used to say – she is going to break the home. Obviously I wanted to explain my point. But then I thought that if I did this, it would make many people sad.
