Bollywood actor, director, singer and producer Farhan Akhtar recently gave an interview related to his past and married life on Rhea Chakraborty's channel.
On this occasion, Farhan talked about his first marriage. The actor told how his and Adhuna's (first wife) divorce affected his daughters Akira and Shakya.

There was anger and sadness inside him During this podcast, Riya asked Farhan what was the reaction of his daughters when his and Adhuna's relationship broke up. To this Farhan said, 'Obviously, it must not have been easy. After all, the relationship which they had considered perfect till now was breaking up. They were angry. There was some sadness inside.'
Maybe he's still angry at me Farhan further said- 'When Adhuna and I got divorced, I started blaming myself for my daughters. They had nothing to do with this but they were emotionally broken by it. It is possible that they are still angry with me.'

Farhan remembered his childhood Earlier, Farhan had told in an interview that when he decided to divorce Adhuna, he remembered the time when his parents (Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani) got divorced. Farhan was very young then and was upset with the divorce of his parents.

Divorced from Adhuna after 17 years Farhan and Adhuna got married in the year 2000 after a 3-year relationship. After 17 years of marriage, both got divorced in 2017. After this, Farhan started dating VJ Shibani Dandekar in 2018. Both got married on 19 February 2022.
