The dispute between director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and actor Adil Hussain is not coming to an end. In an interview given a month ago, Adil had expressed regret over working in the film 'Kabir Singh'.
Now he has talked about this once again. This time Adil has targeted Vanga's film 'Animal'.
He said that even if he was offered Rs 100-200 crore to work in this film, he would not have worked in it.

Let us understand from the beginning what is the whole matter…
A month ago, in an interview given to AP Podcast channel, Adil had said that 'Kabir Singh' is the only film in which he regrets working.
The actor said that at that time he was busy with some other work and he shot his scene for the film without knowing the full story of the film. He thought that the film would be good, but when he went to the theatre after the release of the film, he was shocked and also felt embarrassed for working in such a film.
Adil played the role of a professor in Shahid starrer 'Kabir Singh'.
Sandeep had said- I will replace you
Replying to this comment of Adil, Sandeep had tweeted while sharing a clip of Adil's podcast. The director had written- 'Your 'trust' in 30 art films did not get you as much fame as your 'regret' in a blockbuster film has.
I regret casting you, knowing that your greed is greater than your passion. Now I will save you from embarrassment by replacing your face with the help of AI. Now smile properly.'
Sandeep's tweet in which he reacted to Adil's comment.
Is he more famous than Ang Lee?
Now Aadil has given his reaction to Sandeep's statement in an interview given to Zoom. The actor said, 'What can I say on this? I think many types of answers can be given to his comment, but if he thinks himself more famous than Ang Lee (Taiwanese film director) then I don't know what to say. It is very unfortunate that he thinks like this.
He gave this reply in anger only because he wanted to react to my words. I do not take his comment seriously.
Adil had earlier worked in Ang Lee's film 'Life of Pi'.
I don't know the exact figures of 'Kabir Singh': Adil
Adil further said, 'His film 'Kabir Singh' did well at the box office and that's probably why he thinks so but I don't know the exact figures of 'Kabir Singh'. Yes, 'Life of Pi' did earn more than a billion dollars, so I don't think he can compete with it. He should have thought about it before saying this.'
Adil also targeted the film 'Animal' in this interview. He said, 'I have not seen 'Animal' till now. This is not a film of my taste. Even if I was offered a role in it, I would not have done it. Even if they had offered me 100-200 crores rupees.'
Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Animal' was the highest-grossing film of 2023 after Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawaan' and 'Pathan'.
Both the films did tremendous business
Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Kabir Singh', released in 2019, earned Rs 379 crore. It was the third highest grossing film of the year.
At the same time, 'Animal' released in 2023 earned Rs 917 crore worldwide. This was also the third highest grossing film of the year.
