Former Miss Ecuador contestant Landi Paraga Goyburro has been shot and killed in broad daylight. 23-year-old Landy Paraga Goyburro, who participated in the Miss Ecuador 2022 pageant, was murdered on April 28 in a restaurant in Quevedo. According to a report in the Telegraph newspaper, she was in the city to attend a wedding. Goyaburo is said to have had an affair with drug smuggler Leandro Norero, who died a year ago in a prison riot.
Goyburo's name has also come up in an investigation into corruption involving judicial officials linked to organized crime, the Telegraph reported. Minutes before her death, the beauty queen posted a photo of herself eating at a restaurant (Ecuadorian beauty queen).
