There has been a change in the shooting date of Don 3. According to sources, the shooting of the film will start in late 2024 instead of August. The reason for this change in date is that director Farhan Akhtar is still considering the name of the villain. According to the report of Times of India, recently Farhan revealed in an interview that he will start shooting for a new film in July. He has a lead role in this film. In such a situation, he will focus solely on this.

There was news that Emraan Hashmi's name has been locked as the villain, but he had termed it as a rumor some time back. Due to all these factors, it will be difficult to start shooting in August. Farhan wants to extend Don's legacy with a new actor
Farhan Akhtar had announced Don 3 by posting a post on social media. He shared a long note and wrote – In 1978, Salim-Javed created a character. Mr. Bachchan played that character very well. A huge crowd gathered to watch the film in theatres. The name of this character was 'Don.'
Don's story was re-imagined in 2006. Shahrukh Khan presented it with great delicacy. Being a writer and director, I enjoyed a lot while making both these films. Working with Shahrukh Khan in both the films will always be close to my heart.
