The documentary series 'Angry Young Man' based on Bollywood's most famous script writers Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar will be released on August 20.
In this 3-episode series, the journey of Salim and Javed becoming writers will be shown. In this, some well-known artists of Indian cinema will also share memorable stories related to both the writers.

On Saturday, Salman Khan announced this through a social media post. Sharing the post of this series, the actor wrote- 'Salim Khan, Javed Akhtar in the end as Angry Young Man'

Javed Akhtar's son Farhan Akhtar also shared this poster on social media. He wrote, 'The pair that wrote countless stories. Now is the time to listen to their story. Salim-Javed are coming back on August 20 with Angry Young Man.'

The trailer will be released in Mumbai on August 13
Before releasing the series on August 20, the makers will launch its trailer at an event to be held in Mumbai on August 13. Salim-Javed themselves will be present on this occasion. Apart from this, many celebs including Salman Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar will attend this event.
Debutante Namrata Rao directed
'Angry Young Man' is jointly produced by Salman Khan Films, Excel Media and Entertainment and Tiger Baby. Its executive producers include big names like Salma Khan, Salman Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. The series is directed by Namrata Rao, who will be making her debut as a director with this series.
Salim-Javed worked together on 24 films from 1971 to 1987. Out of these, 20 films were hits.
Salim-Javed are considered to be Bollywood's most hit writer duo. In the 1970s, the duo gave many hit films including 'Sholay', 'Zanjeer', 'Deewar', 'Yaadon Ki Baaraat' and 'Don'.
