This Friday, two films 'Do Aur Do Pyaar' and 'LSD 2' have been released at the box office. Their box office performance on the opening day was so poor that both the films combined could not even earn Rs 1 crore.
'Do Aur Do Pyaar' released on total 814 screens
First let's talk about 'Do Aur Do Pyaar' starring Vidya Balan, Prateik Gandhi, Ileana D'Cruz and Senthil. This film earned only Rs 50 lakh on the opening day.
It was released on 543 screens in India and 271 screens overseas. The occupancy of this film directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta was only 9.10% on the first day.
Vidya, Prateek Gandhi, Ileana and Senthil are seen together for the first time in 'Do Aur Do Pyaar'.
LSD-2 got only 5.48% occupancy
On the other hand, the earnings of Dibakar Banerjee's film 'LSD 2' were even less. This film did a business of only Rs 15 lakh on the first day.
This film has been produced by Ekta Kapoor and actors like Paritosh Tiwari, Bonita Rajpurohit and Abhinav Singh are seen in it. The occupancy of this film was only 5.48% on the first day.

Film critic Taran Adarsh, while sharing a tweet, has expressed disappointment over the collections of both the films. Taran wrote, 'New Friday but same story again.. drought continues.. #bollywood #boxoffice'
Apart from Taran, many other film critics have also expressed disappointment over this week's Bollywood collection. Earlier, 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' and 'Maidan', released last week, were also not able to earn much at the box office.
BMCM and Maidan had clashed on the occasion of Eid. Due to this the films suffered losses.
'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' and 'Maidan' together earned Rs 2.85 crore
Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' has earned more than both the films released this week. The film earned Rs 1 crore 40 lakh on its second Friday. Now its total collection at the Indian box office has reached Rs 51 crore 30 lakh.
Whereas 'Maidan' did a business of Rs 1 crore 45 lakh on the second Friday. The total Indian BO collection of the film has reached Rs 29.80 crore.
