Television actress Divyanka Tripathi and her husband Vivek Dahiya had gone to Europe to celebrate their 8th wedding anniversary, where their goods worth Rs 10 lakh and passport were stolen. After the theft of money and passport, the couple is stuck in Europe. When no help was received even after seeking help from the police and the Indian Embassy, Divyanka Tripathi has written a letter to Italy's PM Meloni and appealed for help.

On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Divyanka has written pleading for help, Dear Prime Minister Miss Georgia Meloni, We were travelling to Italy with great enthusiasm until we were robbed. A police report has been filed but robberies are taken very casually here. We have already lost our hope along with our enthusiasm. Now where will our people gather the courage to come to Italy?

Further Divyanka Tripathi has written, Our embassies are helping us, but how about Italy taking responsibility for the safety of tourists like us. This is not about us, but about all those people who save and spend money to come here.

What is the whole matter?

Actress Divyanka Tripathi had gone to Florence, Italy with her husband Vivek. There they had rented a car, through which they were looking for hotels and resorts to stay. They had gone to a resort for booking, but when they came out, they saw that their car's windows had been broken and all their belongings had been stolen. The stolen items included their money and passport. Also, all the shopping done the previous day was also in the car.

The couple filed a report, but the local police refused to help, saying there was no CCTV camera at the place where their belongings were stolen.

After their passports and money were stolen, the couple is facing a lot of difficulties in Florence. The staff of the resort from where the couple's belongings were stolen has helped them with their stay, but they are facing problems due to lack of money. The couple has asked for a temporary passport from the Indian Embassy to return to India, through which they can get help in returning to India.

Vivek Dahiya had told about the robbery that happened with him through social media. He had written, When we were robbed, our car was in the resort's secured campus. Please don't bother us by telling us how to keep our luggage, because the resort people knew very well that our luggage was in the car, but now it doesn't matter to them. This can happen to anyone, but I hope it doesn't happen to anyone.
