Director Nag Ashwin spoke on the negative response to Kalki: What the public says is important; said- it is amazing to see action between Prabhas and Big B

It has been more than a week since the release of the film Kalki 2898 AD. The film is doing well at the box office. However, some critics are becoming aggressive about the film's earnings and lead actor Prabhas. In this matter, the film's director Nag Ashwin says that he is not much affected by the external noise.

It is important to know the response of the general public towards the film. Nag Ashwin also talked about the action sequence between Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. He said that both are the biggest action stars of their respective generations. In such a situation, seeing both of them doing action together in the same sequence is a life time moment in itself.

Question- Kalki is making records at the box office every day, the audience is also liking it a lot. How are you feeling?
answer- Such films are rarely made, whenever the idea of ​​making such films comes, the filmmaker should try to make it as good as possible. I am happy that the audience is giving a lot of love to this film.

Question- How were you able to manage big stars like Big B, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone together?
answer- It is easier to work with big stars. I did not face any problem working with these four. I did not need to tell them much. After a little explaining, they did all the sequences very easily.

Question- How were you able to make Amitabh Bachchan do action even at this age?
answer– What can I say about him now, he is a legend. When the first schedule was over, everyone stood up and clapped in his honour. However, filming the action sequence of Bachchan sahab and Prabhas was not easy.

The same scene was shot multiple times. Perhaps this is the reason why the film took 3 years to be made. Big B has been the biggest action star of his time, while Prabhas is the biggest action star of today. Seeing both of them together in an action sequence was no less than a life time moment.

Question: You have combined science and spirituality together in the film, you have not shown the character of Shri Krishna, why is that?
answer- I love reading about history and Puranas. Our history is so impressive that if stories are taken from there, then a lot of valuable things will come out. Take the example of our film Kalki. In this, we related the story of Mahabharata to Kalyug. As far as the character of Krishna is concerned, we did not want to give him any face.

Question- Have the preparations for Kalki-2 begun? Is Kamal Haasan's role going to increase in the next part?
answer- Yes, preparations have definitely begun. The script is also ready. An update will be given about Kalki-2 soon. Kamal Haasan's role is going to increase a lot in the next part. His role will not only increase but will also be much more influential.

Question: There are some negative comments coming about the box office numbers, especially critics are becoming very aggressive on Prabhas' films, is there any thinking behind this?
answer- Now if there is any particular thinking behind this, I don't know. The most important thing for me is what the common people are thinking about this film. The reaction people give outside the theatre, whether it is positive or negative, is what matters the most to me.

Question: Do you take critics' words seriously?
answer- Those critics who are genuine, I take them very seriously. As a director, when I feel that a critic is saying something logical, I respect him completely.

Question- What changes have come in your life after the release of Kalki?
answer- There hasn't been much change. I just feel a little empty now. I was working continuously for the last two-three years. I had become used to working, now I feel bored.
