Diljit Dosanjh is in the headlines these days due to his Dil Luminati Tour. Recently, a video of Diljit has surfaced from the concert held in Manchester, in which he is seen giving a gift to a Pakistani female fan. While meeting his fans from across the border, Diljit said that for us India and Pakistan are the same. However, many people are not liking his statement.
In the video that surfaced, Diljit Dosanjh gave a gift to his female fan on stage and then asked, where are you. When the reply was received, Pakistan, Diljit said, Oh Pakistanis, loud applause for them. Look, India and Pakistan are one and the same for us. Punjabis have love for everyone in their hearts. These boundaries and borders have been created by our politicians. But whether Punjabi speaking people are here or there, they are all the same.
Diljit further said, those who have come from my country are also welcome. And those who have come from Pakistan are also welcome. Lots of applause for this kudi.
While on one hand social media users are praising Diljit for his behaviour, there is also a section which is angry at his statement. After the video surfaced, many users are angrily commenting on the post. One user has written, ask the families of martyrs about such brotherhood. Another user has written, ask the widow of a martyred soldier, ask his helpless mother, ask his small daughters what is the pain. We don't need such brotherhood.
Mother came to watch Diljit's concert, hugged her son and cried
Recently, another video of Diljit has surfaced from Manchester, in which he has introduced fans to his family for the first time in 15 years. Actually, Diljit's mother and sisters were a part of his concert. During this, Diljit started singing the lyrics of his song Hans-Hans on the stage and reached the crowd while singing.
Reaching a woman, Diljit sang the lines of his song Dil Tenu De Ditta Main Taan Soneya and introduced his mother. When Diljit hugged her, mother was also seen getting emotional. Diljit expressed his love by kissing her forehead. He has also dedicated some lines of the song to his sisters.
