AR Rahman and his band member Mohini Dey surprised everyone by announcing their separation from their partners on the same day. On November 19, Rehman and his wife Saira Banu announced the end of their 29-year-old marriage. Shortly afterwards, Mohini Dey also talked about getting a divorce from her husband. After this, Mohini appealed to respect her personal life and said, 'I have no intention of increasing these rumors further. My time should not be spent on these things. Please respect my privacy.

Earlier, AR Rahman's son AR Amin also reacted to the rumors of his parents' divorce. She wrote on Instagram, 'My dad is a legend, and not just because of his work, but also because of the respect and love he has earned over the years. I am saddened that false rumors are spreading. We should understand that when we talk about someone, truth and respect are most important. Please avoid spreading wrong information.

Mohini Dey and her husband Mark Hartsch also announced their separation in a post. He wrote, 'We have decided to separate by mutual consent. There is understanding between us, and we will remain good friends. We will work together on many projects, including Mamogi and Mohini Day Group.
