Hema further said, 'When you become a film star and enter politics, people's craze for you increases. Everyone knows the craze of fans regarding Dharamji, so he had a lot of difficulty in managing it. I also face many problems which Dharamji does not like at all but I am a woman so I manage everything properly. ,

Hema also told in the interview that Vinod Khanna has played an important role in her political journey. Hema said, I was influenced by Vinod Khanna because he used to take me along to his election meetings. He taught me a lot like how to give a speech, how to face the public etc. Giving a speech in front of five-six thousand people is no joke. You get scared at first.

Hema is contesting from Mathura for the third time

In 2014, for the first time, BJP fielded Hema Malini from Mathura Lok Sabha seat. After this, he contested the Lok Sabha elections from Mathura for the second time in 2019 and won.

Now she is contesting elections from Mathura for the third time. Dharmendra was MP from Bikaner from 2004 to 2009 but later he left politics.
