Dhananjay Singh has been sentenced to 7 years by a Jaunpur special court in a high-profile case of kidnapping and extortion. He had filed a petition against Yanikala in the High Court last month. What was the case with Dhananjay Singh?
Dhananjay Singh was sentenced to seven years in the kidnapping case. He then challenged the decision of the trial court by filing an appeal in the Allahabad High Court. During the hearing in the High Court, Dhananjay's lawyers said that he was the victim of a political conspiracy.
He was shifted from Jaunpur Jail to Bareilly Jail this morning. Dhananjay Singh's wife Srikala Reddy was present on this occasion. Srikala is contesting from Jaunpur on a BSP ticket. Babu Singh Kushwaha from SP and Kripashankar Singh from BJP are contesting the election.
