New Delhi, Leading News Service: After the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor abuse case in Delhi, many developments are taking place. Arvind Kejriwal sent a message to the workers which was broadcast by his wife Sunita Kejriwal through a video and also announced the party campaign 'Bless Kejriwal'. And after that, discussions started about whether the face of the post of Chief Minister of Delhi will change.
Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is in power in two states, Delhi and Punjab. Kejriwal himself is the Chief Minister of Delhi. There are also discussions in the political circles that President's Rule may be imposed in the capital Delhi as the Chief Minister himself is in custody. Therefore, Kejriwal has to think of giving face to Kejriwal as Chief Minister before such a situation occurs. Many discussions have been sparked on who will be the alternative face in Kejriwal's place. “Our leader Kejriwal will run the government from jail,” AAP leaders and ministers are making such statements. But practically it is not possible. Various meetings, discussions with ministers, instructions to officials are also not possible. Also, there are many questions as to whether it is right to continue as Chief Minister after being arrested as a matter of political ethics. Earlier, when Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren was arrested, he had handed over the chief ministership to Champai Soren.
Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal's name is being mentioned in the talks of changing the Chief Minister in Delhi. The reason for this was, “The message he read out from Kejriwal and the Aishwarda campaign started before it. So to stay away from President's rule or other crises, Kejriwal's wife as Chief Minister can be an experiment on our behalf. The names of Aam Aadmi Party leaders Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj are also being discussed in the capital. However, if any minister or leader other than Kejriwal is given the post of Chief Minister, there is a possibility of internal faction among the leaders. It is not beneficial for us to have such things happen on the eve of elections. On the contrary, campaigning saying that Kejriwal was wronged will be more beneficial for AAP and allies. So, if Arvind Kejriwal is to find a face, his wife Sunita Kejriwal's name can come forward.
