Gurucharan Singh, who played the character of Sodhi in the popular television show 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', was in the news some time ago due to his disappearance. Recently, he suddenly disappeared from his Delhi home, after which his father filed a missing report. The police investigated a lot but after 25 days, Gurucharan himself returned home.
After his return, Gurucharan is looking for work. He revealed this in an interview recently.
Now according to reports, in this connection, he met 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' producer Asit Kumar Modi. He was seen in Asit Modi's Mumbai office, after which speculations of Gurucharan's return to the Tarak Mehta show have intensified.
When a news portal talked to Gurucharan about his return to the show, he just said – I don't know anything, let's see what happens next.

Gurucharan is like family: Asit Kumar Modi
When Asit Modi was asked about his meeting with Gurucharan, he said, Gurucharan is like family to me. He has been associated with us for a long time. After leaving the show due to personal reasons, whenever he comes to Mumbai, he meets me.
After what he did in the last few days, I was quite worried for him and even messaged him to know about his well-being. He came to our office and we talked a lot and I wished him all the best for the future.

Gurucharan had mentioned his poor financial condition in an interview recently. He had said- 'I have come to Mumbai and want to work a lot. I am currently under many loans and debts. All this will be possible only through work and I am ready to work hard. I want to get married and settle down soon. As soon as I get married, I will shift my parents from Delhi to Mumbai so that I can take care of them.'
After staying away from acting, Gurucharan lives with his parents in Delhi.
Gurucharan further said, 'Many things affected me since the Corona epidemic. I left Mumbai and went back to Delhi in 2020 because my father had surgery. After that I started many businesses but they did not work out, either the business did not work properly or the people with whom I had partnerships disappeared. I also have a property issue going on for years in which a lot of money has been spent, so due to all this my financial condition has become very bad.'

Gurucharan Singh remained a part of 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' from its inception till 2013. Then he left the show, however, by then he had become so popular that the producers had to bring him back to the show on public demand. After making a comeback, he did this show for 6 years.
After this, Gurucharan left the show to take care of his father during the lockdown in 2020. After staying away from acting, Gurucharan lives with his parents in Delhi.
