London : News Agency : British physicist Peter Higgs (age 94) passed away. He along with Indian researcher Satyendranath Bose (not jointly) discovered 'Higgsboson' i.e. 'Devkana' (God particle). This research made it clear how the universe was created after the Big Bang.
Higgs was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2013 for his research on the 'God Particle'. Higgs had been ill for several days. Higgs, who was a professor at the University of Edinburgh for many years, along with Bose and other scientists, started trying to understand what the universe is made of in the 1960s. When it was answered in 2012, the particle at the origin of the universe was named the 'God particle' as well as the 'Higgsboson'. Then the world knew only electrons, neutrons, protons. The 'God Particle' was just an idea at that time. Higgs proved it scientifically.
In 1929, Peter Higgs was born in Newcastle, UK. He received many awards. The Dirac Medal, an honor of the European Physics Committee, includes Wolff. India had a lion's share in the research of 'God Particle'. The 'God particle' is named 'Higgsboson' after the surname of Indian scientist Satyendranath Bose and Higgs of Peter Higgs.
Einstein gave the name 'Boson'..!
Satyendranath Bose sent one of his papers on quantum statistics to Albert Einstein in 1924. It was Einstein who gave the name 'Boson' to this research.
'Higgsboson' research?
The god particle 'Higgsboson' gives weight to other particles. Without the 'Higgsboson', stars would not have formed. If there were no galaxies, then the universe would have been different.
A load can absorb other objects into itself. Atoms of some substance will move around in a region (cavity) where there is nothing. They will not mix with each other. When these atoms develop a charge, they will mix with each other.
