Popular Kannada star Darshan is in jail on charges of murdering his 33-year-old fan Renukaswamy. Meanwhile, new updates related to the case are coming out. Now reports have revealed that before Renukaswamy's murder, Darshan was partying in a pub in Bengaluru.
Kannada's famous comedian Chikanna was also present with him in this party, who has been called by the police for questioning. According to India Today's report, after partying, Darshan along with his female friend Pavithra Gowda went to a godown in Pattanagere village where Renukaswamy was murdered.

The accused had changed their blood stained clothes
According to the report, Renukaswamy was kidnapped and kept in the godown where Darshan and his companions beat him up so badly that he died. After the murder, Darshan's companions' clothes were soaked in blood. They went to a nearby Reliance store and bought new clothes and changed them there.
On Monday morning, Bengaluru police went to Reliance store and recreated the crime scene. Police may also take Darshan to Mysuru to recreate the crime scene. According to sources, Renukaswamy's gold chain and wallet have also been recovered from the house of Raghavendra, an accused in this case, in Chitradurga. Police have so far arrested 19 people including Darshan and Pavitra in this case.

There were shocking revelations in the post-mortem report
Recently, Renukaswamy's post-mortem report revealed that she was given electric shocks to torture her before the murder. There were injury marks on many parts of her body. There were many wounds on her back, chest and hands and legs which were bleeding. Many parts of the body were scratched by dogs.

According to the police, Renukaswami's body was found near an apartment in Kamakshipalya area of Bengaluru on June 9. When the police investigated the area around the crime scene, they saw Darshan and Pavitra coming out of the crime scene in the CCTV footage. The mobile numbers of both were active in the same area from 11 pm to 3 am. After this, Darshan and Pavitra were arrested on June 11.

The deceased Renukaswamy was a fan of actor Darshan. In January 2024, Kannada actress Pavitra Gowda celebrated her 10th anniversary with Darshan. This brought their relationship into controversy, as Darshan is already married.
Renukaswamy was very angry with this news. He was constantly messaging Pavitra and asking her to stay away from Darshan. Initially, Pavitra ignored his messages, but later Renukaswamy started threatening her by sending objectionable messages. According to police sources, Pavitra provoked Darshan to kill Renuka. She asked him to punish him. Bangalore Police had also revealed that Darshan had offered Rs 15 lakh to his 3 companions to take responsibility for the murder.
