TV actress Daljeet Kaur's married life has been in the news for the past several days. The actress married Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel last year, but the marriage broke in just 8 months. The actress had made several serious allegations against her husband like having an extramarital affair and throwing her out of the house. Now the actress has filed a complaint against her husband Nikhil Patel at Agripada Police Station in Mumbai.
A case has been registered against Nikhil Patel under sections 85 and 316 (2) of the IPC. He has been charged with cruelty and breach of trust with Daljeet.
Confirming this news, Daljeet has thanked Joint Commissioner Anil Paraskar. The actress has shared a post on social media and written that she was scared while entering the police station, but with everyone's support, she is now confident that justice will be done to her.

Actress Daljeet Kaur married Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel in March 2023. After marriage, she shifted to Kenya with her son Jordan. Jordan is her son from her first husband Shalin Bhanot. Their marriage broke up in 2015.
Daljeet returned to India with her son 8 months after shifting to Kenya. After coming to India, she gave a hint of divorce through social media, since then the dispute between her and Nikhil is continuing through different interviews and social media posts. Nikhil has also told in an interview that Daljeet was not able to adjust in Kenya. She was missing India a lot. She talked about returning to India citing her son's school and the very next day she packed her things and came to India. If Nikhil is to be believed, the day Daljeet returned to India, their relationship had ended on that very day.
Daljeet Kaur told through a social media post that her husband was cheating on her. He has an extra marital affair. However, openly accusing Nikhil on social media proved costly for the actress. Nikhil had sent a legal notice to the actress from Kenya and warned that if she tries to tarnish his image now, he would take strict action against her. He also said that she should take her belongings from his house, otherwise he would donate all the belongings. After receiving the legal notice, Daljeet had taken a stay order from Milimani Court in Nairobi city of Kenya.
